"An American Love Story"
In these trying times of belligerent posturing and ominous, indecisive prophecies, it can be hard for an ordinary person to get a wink of sleep at night. Human rights are being encroached upon. This is why we, an anonymous art collective based in NYC and Chicago have placed over 1,000 posters of Trump and Pence kissing throughout NYC and Chicago over the course of a week.
There is a wave of hatred sweeping the nation. People are protesting, watching their televisions, pacing across their living rooms like tigers trapped in cages. None of us know what to do, yet all of us are wary of what the future will bring.
A scheming cabal of bitter old men has come out of the shadows. They plan to take away LGBT rights, among committing other human rights violations--and they seem so unconcerned with the harm this will cause.
Haven't they read the signs? Don't they know that love trumps hate? They want to take away people's rights to be with those they love. Birch Reincliff doesn't appreciate this. Birch Reincliff believes that love between two consenting adults is thing of beauty; something that should be embraced by all the world--not something to be shunned.
This is why, it is our pleasure to present to the world a simple love story. America deserves that, doesn't it? A small reprieve, something of beauty to gaze upon, if only for a short time?
